UniBites Unlimited Subscription Terms

UniBites Unlimited is our paid subscription that gives eligible subscribers unlimited access to every recipe on the Platform, together with any additional Premium features expressly advertised by UniBites at the time of subscription (which may include the AI meal planner, supermarket price comparison, nutrition filters, and ad-free browsing). The exact features included within Unlimited may change as the Platform develops, but any feature advertised at the time you subscribe will be honoured for the duration of your then-current billing period.

UniBites Unlimited is offered as a recurring subscription with two billing options:

• Monthly plan — £3.99 per month, billed monthly in advance.
• Annual plan — £29.99 per year, billed annually in advance.

All prices include applicable UK VAT. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number or other sensitive cardholder data. The price applicable to a new subscription will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

As an alternative to a UniBites Unlimited subscription, you may purchase individual recipe credits. Credits are priced as displayed at the time of purchase and may include single-credit and multi-credit bundles. Each credit grants access to one recipe’s full content (ingredients, steps, and nutrition information). Credits do not expire and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another user.

Users who do not subscribe to UniBites Unlimited or purchase credits may access up to three (3) free recipe unlocks per week. Free unlocks refresh weekly. The free-access allowance may be subject to technical restrictions, eligibility requirements, or changes to the Platform, and UniBites reserves the right to modify the features or limits of free access in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

UniBites Unlimited is a recurring subscription. By subscribing, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing period until the subscription is cancelled or otherwise terminated. Subscriptions renew automatically by default. You may switch to manual renewal mode from your account settings, in which case you will need to confirm each renewal before it takes place; if you do not confirm, your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period.

The applicable price, billing frequency, and any other material subscription terms will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

If you are a UK consumer, you may have the right to cancel a subscription within 14 days of the start of your subscription without giving a reason, except where you have expressly requested that the digital content be supplied immediately and acknowledged that you lose your cancellation right once supply begins. Where this right applies and you exercise it, you will receive a full refund. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@unibites.co.uk.

Outside of this statutory right, you may cancel your subscription at any time using the cancellation method provided through your account or by contacting UniBites. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already commenced, except where required by applicable law.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund (for example, due to a service failure, duplicate charge, or a statutory right), please open a support chat or contact us at hello@unibites.co.uk with the details. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe. Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits any statutory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that apply to you under UK consumer law.

UniBites may change the price of UniBites Unlimited in the future. Where a price change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide any notice required by applicable law and give you an appropriate opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect where required. The price applicable to a new subscription will always be displayed before purchase.

If a payment fails, your Unlimited access may be suspended or terminated following reasonable attempts to obtain payment. We will notify you before suspending access where reasonably practicable. You remain responsible for any amounts properly due under your subscription, subject to your statutory rights.

If you delete your account while an active UniBites Unlimited subscription is in place, the subscription is cancelled immediately and a prorated charge may apply for the billing period already used. Nothing in these Subscription Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or otherwise affect any rights or remedies you may have under applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where applicable, consumers have statutory rights relating to services and digital content, and these rights apply regardless of anything stated in these Subscription Terms.
