Throughout these Terms, "UniBites", "we", "us" and "our" refer to UniBites Ltd.
"You", "your" and "user" refer to any person accessing or using the Platform.
UniBites is a digital recipe and social platform designed primarily for students and young adults.
The Platform enables users to discover, access, create, upload, share, rate, review and interact with recipes and other user-generated content.
Depending on the features available at the time, the Platform may also provide:
We may add, remove, modify or replace features as the Platform develops.
You must be at least 16 years old to use UniBites.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in the jurisdiction in which you reside in order to purchase a Premium subscription.
If you are under 18, you should only use UniBites with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You must not create an account using another person's identity or impersonate another individual, organisation or business.
Certain features require you to create a UniBites account.
You are responsible for:
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation.
UniBites reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users or our legitimate interests.
UniBites may provide users with access to a limited number of recipes or Platform features without payment.
Unless otherwise stated on the Website, free users may access up to three (3) free recipe unlocks per week. Free unlocks refresh weekly, so you can continue to explore new recipes without paying.
The free-access allowance may be subject to technical restrictions, eligibility requirements or changes to the Platform.
UniBites reserves the right to modify the features or limits of free access in accordance with these Terms.
UniBites may offer a paid subscription service known as UniBites Unlimited.
The current advertised price is:
Unlimited provides eligible subscribers with unlimited access to recipes, together with any additional Premium features expressly advertised by UniBites at the time of subscription.
The exact features included within Unlimited may change as the Platform develops.
UniBites Unlimited is a recurring subscription billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select during checkout.
By subscribing, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the applicable subscription fee at the beginning of each billing period until the subscription is cancelled or otherwise terminated.
Subscriptions renew automatically by default, but you may switch to manual renewal mode from your account settings, in which case you will need to confirm each renewal before it takes place.
The applicable price, billing frequency and any other material subscription terms will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
You may cancel your Unlimited subscription at any time using the cancellation method provided through your account or by contacting UniBites where applicable.
Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation will prevent future renewal but will not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already commenced.
Your Unlimited access will normally continue until the end of the applicable paid billing period.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that apply to you.
UniBites may change the price of Unlimited in the future.
Where a price change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide any notice required by applicable law and will give you an appropriate opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect where required.
The price applicable to a new subscription will be displayed before purchase.
If a payment fails, your Unlimited access may be suspended or terminated following reasonable attempts to obtain payment.
You remain responsible for any amounts properly due under your subscription, subject to your statutory rights.
As an alternative to a UniBites Unlimited subscription, users may purchase individual recipe credits.
Credits are priced as displayed at the time of purchase and may include single-credit and multi-credit bundles.
Each credit grants access to one recipe's full content (ingredients, steps, and nutrition information).
Credits do not expire and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another user.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any rights or remedies you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
Where applicable, consumers have statutory rights relating to services and digital content, and these rights apply regardless of anything stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
